CATCH BASIN CLEANING

Herby Enterprises Limited is experienced in municipal/industrial catch basin cleaning, and storm sewer maintenance. Debris is removed from storm sewer lines with a high pressure flusher, then vacuumed as it enters the basin or manhole leaving no debris in the system. We have two units and a flusher truck to serve our customers.
Of our two vacuum units, one is a combination unit (Camel Combo) which contains its own water tank and flushing apparatus. The second unit is a high volume vacuum truck (Power Vac) which can be accompanied by a flusher truck if necessary. These vehicles and their crews can usually be mobilized in a minimal amount of time to deal with emergency situations.
Much of the catch basin cleaning we do is performed far away from our base in Valley East, Ontario. Our operators are often called upon to work out of town, and we stay until the job is done! Quotations can be given for anywhere in Ontario.

| No-Dig Water Curb Box Replacement
|
Herby Enterprises Limited offers an alternative to costly shovel and backhoe excavation. Our no-dig technique employs a POWERFUL vacuum truck and high-pressure washer to literally suck up the soil material from out of the ground! This system offers many advantages over traditional excavation techniques.
- Minimal crew and equipment requirements.
- Removal and loading of discarded material is simultaneous.
- Minimal disturbance to surrounding ground.
- Small diameter excavations can be performed easily, and precisely (keyhole excavation).
Our company employed this technique for three years while under contract with the regional municipality to repair curb stops. The use of this technique leads to substantial savings over the conventional cost of replacing curb stops, with a proven 99% success rate - due to the patented "Unique Coupler System" from Liphook Couplers Systems Inc.
Through the combination of no-dig excavation and the patented "Unique Coupler System" repair or replacement of the curb stops/valve box and/or rod can be completed at savings as high as 70% with production increases of up to 500%.
The 10" (250mm) diameter keyhole created over the valve using the vacuum and flusher equipment allows replacement from the surface to any depth. Repair and restoration times of 55 minutes are not uncommon. This system is safe, fast, and effective.
