Chamber Systems
Old Fashioned Stone & Pipe systems use grave or crushed stone in the leaching trenches to create a void space to store the effluent and release it slowly. However, such systems are prone to eventual failure as these empty spaces around the gravel become clogged, limiting filtration of water into the soil. These traditional field beds also tend to take up more room and can occupy a large portion of your property.
The Infiltrator Chamber System introduces a new technology in septic leachfields, which is currently the number one choice in the United States. Infiltrator chambers are hollow structures that attach end-to-end, and are installed in trenches without gravel. The entire bottom of the trench is open for unobstructed infiltration of water.
The large storage volume within the hollow chambers accomodates peak flows of effluent from the home!
Advantages of the Infiltrator Chamber System
- Provides long-term savings due to longer life and operating efficiency
- Simple to maintain
- Handles more wastewater with higher efficiency
- Can be installed in small areas, and causes less site disruption
